The Intensive English Program (IEP) is for those who want to dedicate significant time to language development. The IEP course will help you meet your academic, professional, and personal goals. You will be exposed to new experiences in Philadelphia and have real opportunities to use English daily as you engage with the American culture.
You can take a six-level English program, ranging from beginner (A1) to advanced (C1). It is a student-centered ESL program that integrates all language skills with contextualized practice at each level.
At PELI you will find courses that are fully immersive and in person. You will improve your English speaking and understand English through listening. You will grow your confidence, have the opportunity to learn, and work collaboratively with others. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of English grammar and vocabulary, as well as develop skills to read and write with clarity.
At PELI, you will learn English with experienced and professional instructors and teachers with people of all ages from all over the world. You can expect to have a safe and comfortable environment for learning, practicing, and building fluency in English everyday.
As an IEP student at PELI, you will study 4 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00am to 2:30pm.
The next trimester will start September 2024. Each trimester has 60 class days and a total of 288 class hours.
See our calendar page for exact dates.
