    - Payment 1: Due 2 weeks before classes start.
    - Payment 2: Due 30 days after classes begin.
    - Payment 3: Due 30 days after Payment 2.

Class Schedule

Classes meet twice a week for a total of 288 hours per level, with each session lasting 9 hours.

Example Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

The schedule may vary slightly, and you’ll receive your final class schedule at least two weeks before the start date.

Are you ready to change schools? Follow these steps to ensure a smooth transfer of your I-20. Here’s what you need to prepare:

Required Documents

1. Completed Application (Fill out the application form for your new school.)

2. Identification Documents:

Copy of Your Passport
Copy of Your Visa Stamp and I-20
(You can obtain your I-94 at cbp.gov/I94)

3. Previous I-20 Forms: (Include copies of all previously issued I-20s.)

4. Financial Documents:

Bank Statements (must be less than 90 days old)
OR a signed letter from your bank stating your account balance (on official bank letterhead).

5. Signed Forms: (Available on the IEP Forms page)

Sponsor's Affidavit of Support (if you have a sponsor)

6. If You Have Dependents (spouse or children):

Copy of Your Marriage Certificate

Financial Documents

As an international student, you must show that you can pay for your education and living expenses while studying in the U.S. Remember, students on an F-1 Visa cannot work.

To apply, you need to provide:

Bank statements or a signed letter from your bank.

Financial requirements:

For 1 trimester (4 months): You need to show you can pay at least $7,000 for tuition and living costs.
(Add $955 for each dependent, like a spouse or child.)

For 2 trimesters (8 months): You need to show you can pay at least $14,000.
(Add $1,990 for each dependent.)

Pay Deposit Fee ($695) to PELI
Receive Letter of Acceptance
Complete Student Transfer Form
- Part A completed by applicant
- Part B complete by school official from transfer out school

You must obtain a release from the school you are currently attending before an I-20 can be issued for your attendance at the Philadelphia English Language Institute.

Study at PELI

Report to PELI on the date indicated on the acceptance letter.
Attend new student orientation
Take English placement test
Make any required enrollment and tuition payments

Students can arrive up to 30 days before the start of class. However, students must report to the school by the date indicated on their acceptance letter.
