Financial Requirements

Before being granted acceptance to PELI, applicants must pay these non-refundable fees:

• Administrative Fee: $400
• I-20 Fee: $125 (+$70 per dependent)
• Total: $525 (paid to PELI)

The following are fees paid after receiving the I-20, paid to the US government:

• SEVIS Student Fee: $350 (https://www.fmjfee.com/i901fee/index.html)
• DS-160 Fee $185 (https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/) 
• Total: $535 (paid to US Government)

1 Trimester: $4,200 

• Payment Option 1: make 1 payment of $4,000 ($200 discount)
• Payment Option 2: make 2 payments of $2,100.
• 1st Tuition payment must be paid within 5 days of visa approval, before arriving to the U.S.

2 Trimesters: $8,400

• Payment Option 1: make 1 payment of $8,000 ($400 discount)
• Payment Option 2: make 3 payments of $2,800.
• 1st Tuition payment must be paid within 5 days of visa approval, before arriving to the U.S.

Upon arrival at school, students will pay:

• Placement Test: $50
• Textbooks: $100-$200

Applicants may be subject to pay these non-refundable fees:

• Returned checks/Rejected transaction fee: $40
• Reduced medical course load fee: $50 per occurrence.
• Late Payment Fee: $50. 
• Credit Card Fee: 4% per transaction
• Wire Transfer Fee: $50
• Duplicate Document Fee: $30

1 trimester: Must demonstrate ability to pay no less than $7,500

• Estimated living expenses ($3,300)
• 1 trimester tuition ($4,200)
• + $995 per dependent

2 trimesters: Must demonstrate ability to pay no less than $15,500

• Estimated living expenses ($6,600)
• 2 trimesters tuition ($8,400)
• + $1,990 per dependent

1 Trimester total tuition: $4,200

• One-time payment: $4,000 (discounted price)
• Multiple payments: 2 payments of $2,100

2 Trimesters total tuition: $8,400

• One-time payment: $8,000 (discounted price)
• Multiple payments: 3 payments of $2,800

Note: While PELI offers payment plans, students should note that paying the full tuition with their application fees may increase the chances of visa approval.

Students applying from outside of the U.S:

1st payment: due within 5 days of visa approval (before arrival to the U.S.)

2nd payment: due 30 days after the start of class

3rd payment: (if registered for 2 trimesters only) due 30 days before the start of the second trimester

Students applying as Transfer / Change of Status:

1st payment: must be paid with the application fees, before acceptance (tuition is refundable if visa is denied)

2nd payment: due 30 days after the start of class

3rd payment: (if registered for 2 trimesters only) due 30 days before the start of the second trimester
